The full circumstances leading to actor David Carradine’s(Behind Enemy Lines , Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2) death, other than the most obvious, are likely never to be known, despite claims by some family members and associates that he was murdered. The first 72 hours after a suspicious death are the most critical for collecting evidence and identifying possible suspects. But so far police in Thailand, where Carradine died, say they have found nothing suspicious and no evidence of someone else’s involvement. Carradine’s body was returned to Los Angeles on Saturday (June 6 ). The results of the Thai autopsy will not be revealed for at least three weeks. The Thai police believe the actor died from a sudden lack of oxygen and they say his body showed no signs of struggle. The family is pressing ahead with a murder theory.

This is sooo sad! it'd be crazy if he really was murdered... At first they thought he committed suicide b/c he had problems before.... but the way he died was weird. who knowssssss...

Guy Ritchie (RocknRolla, & highly anticipatedSherlock Holmes) is set to branch out from the world of gangster cinema - the filmmaker is reportedly in Hollywood to begin writing a script for a remake of Guys And Dolls.

The director, best known for his London-based crime films, is said to have roped in movie hardman Jason Statham (Transporter, Crank) to show off his vocal talents in a reworking of the classic musical, which originally starred Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Guy has been on the case with the idea of making a musical recently. He had been throwing ideas around with Jason Statham about writing their own musical.

"Guy has had a lot of meetings with top studio bosses about other projects but the Guys And Dolls idea really tickled him."

But Ritchie could be sticking to a familiar formula when shooting begins - he is apparently considering basing the song-and-dance classic in his native Britain.

The insider adds: "He is torn between keeping the script true to the original in New York and taking it to familiar surroundings in London."

SO this is kinda funny for me because I L-O-V-E the Original!! Marlon Brando OWNS my HEART <33 ... Guy Ritchie does ganster flicks so im really interested and worried to see what he is gonna do with this film. But I just dont know why they insist on remaking classics!! Nothing is original these days it makes me sick. :p I hope he doesnt ruin the movie though. best of luck to him!

Clearly there are far more demons than angels among the ranks of critics reviewing Ron Howard's Angels & Demons, the sequel to his The Da Vinci Code (which most of them also condemned). Claudia Puig in USA Today comments that the dialogue in the movie "reeks of cliché." ... On the other hand Roger Ebert in the Chicago Sun-Times awards the film three stars and remarks that the movie unspools "at breakneck speed, with little subtlety, but with fabulous production values." And Kyle Smith concludes in the New York Post: "Angels & Demons has some exciting sequences, a spectacular ending with a terrific twist and a grounding in the debate about science versus religion that could hardly be more timely. It's got enough going on to sustain five blockbuster thrillers. That is its blessing and its curse."
