i don't know i'm a pretty happy person. and we in N.Y. did not have our houses torn apart and ruined by hurricane Katrina.
But maybe its the fact that they are happy because they are alive.

 Unfortunate to see that new yorkers are the least happiest. i myself am not the happiest person but, def. not the unhappiest i agree with that chart. it seems like are state does much complaining.

Well I for one am VERY VERY HAPPY!!! but ik i cant speak for the rest of the state that I reside in.....I wonder how come New Yorkers are not happy like the other states

aw now I'm sad cause we're the saddest state. maybe thats why we're so sad. But even if we are the saddest, everyone always wants to come here and go to ~the city~ so we may be sad but we also rule. yay !  |

of course we're the least happiest state. I mean look at our governer. We're in a recession right now and we're the biggest city in the US. No money comin it people are mad, sad, ed, homelesss. It's over for new york but i still got my NEW YORK pride |

well i can agree or disagee with the list because i haven't llive in any other state in four years but i will say i think we are the 3rd most populated state so right there we have a lot people to be upset. But i bet if you ask people what there made about its over something they can't contorl or to lazy to
